I live in Glasgow, teach all styles of acoustic guitar playing but specialise in fingerstyle guitar, and can teach you the fundementals to the little short cuts and tricks that can turn notes into a piece of music.
I have 10 years experience of playing and teaching including 5 years playing in international touring bands. I am currently a musicworks tutor from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow.
Lessons are designed to teach technique and musicality using examples from the students favourite genre. I do not follow a set teaching method but design each lesson around the individual. I am a member of the Registry of Guitar Teachers, and will soon be able to offer the possibilty of studying for graded exams organised in partnership with London College of music. I also have a full enhanced diclosure Scotland certificate
I can teach acoustic guitar to advanced levels, and rock & blues electric guitar to intermediate levels. I also teach beginners 5 string banjo and mandolin. Prices start from £12 for 30 minute lesson and are situated in central Glasgow.
